My name is Emerson Latham. I graduated from Iowa State University in the spring of 2023 with a degree in journalism and a double minor in Spanish and apparel merchandising and design.

I am from small-town Iowa but have big city dreams. During my time on Iowa State's campus, I have worked for the renowned student-run campus newspaper, the Iowa State Daily. I have also found my love for lifestyle writing during my time with TREND magazine. I have learned so much from the countless opportunities here at school while also being a full-time student.

My biggest learning experience was my time as an editorial apprentice for Better Homes & Gardens online. I worked closely with the team in Des Moines writing, pitching ideas, building stories, testing products, learning SEO strategies and more.
I aspire to use all of my areas of study in my future career.
